They call this patron Muriah. Today is her birthday. She purchased Color Plate 6. Édouard Manet. Dejeuner Sur L’ Herbe 1863 Oil On Canvas, 6’ 9 1/8” x 8’ 10 1/4” Musée D’Orsay, Paris (Earlier That Day), 2001 in 2002 at an incredibly low price as I was preparing to move. I would never part with that painting for such a sum if I were to have possession of it now. (heh) However, I’m truly grateful for her timely patronage as well as her continued appreciation of my work.
